Wager Machine Works is a father and son shop. Phil and Nate Wager. Opened for business in 2017.
The garage went up in the summer of 2014. For the next three years it was nights and weekends, machining parts to make our own work better. People started asking where we got them. We started making them for those people too. That is how the hobby became a trade, and the trade became a shop.
Today we cut optic slots, port slides and barrels, install iron sights, and refinish barrels and slides for Glock, CZ, Sig, and Smith & Wesson. We believe your word matters. We try to do business the right way. And we are grateful for every customer who trusts us with their gear.

Phil is a certified tool and die maker with more than 40 years in machining, manufacturing, and design. Four decades at the bench teach you things no classroom does. He brings that straight into every job that leaves the shop.
Off the clock, you will find him on a trail or on two wheels.

Nate is a certified tool and die maker with 10+ years in the field and degrees in Automotive Technology, Engineering Science, and Advanced Manufacturing Technology. He runs the CAD and CAM side of the shop and is always looking for ways to tighten up the process without giving an inch on quality.
Off the clock, he is building hot rods and firearms.
Lead Engineer

Kyle joined us in March of 2026. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in manufacturing from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Kyle was a long time friend and previous colleague. After getting reconnected in 2025, he decided to move to TN and join the team. Kyle has held several engineering and management positions and brings a lot of experience and knowledge to our team. He heads up most new projects and will be helping us grow and diversify our product offerings. He is very organized and excels at maintaining good documentation, as well as making current processes more efficient. With the long work history we have had, he quickly got up to speed and has helped streamline our operations as he begins to look toward future projects.

Former U.S. Army Apache Pilot
Gage joined the team in May of 2025. He brings a lot of excitement and firearm knowledge with him. He was an Apache pilot and instructor in the Army prior to working with us at Wager Machine, and has also held HR and finance positions. He wears many hats here and does everything from customer service and administrative work to refinishing and assembly. If you email support for help, he is likely who you will be talking to. He is always willing to pitch in and bring new ideas to the table, and has been an incredible help as we have grown the business.
