This is a service to cut your factory Glock slide to allow direct mounting of an optic (aftermarket slides cut with prior approval). Factory optic ready slides cannot be cut unless specifically stated. Recommended Sights for Lower 1/3 Co-witness: We recommend .310″ (rear)/ .305″ (front) irons for use with most optics with this cut. We do stock irons in this height and they are labeled as ‘OPTIC HEIGHT’ on our iron sight page. These will be slightly taller than lower 1/3. For a lower cowitness the Ameriglo 4L irons (GL-455) work well with this cut, but we do not stock those currently.
IRON LOCATION: Due to the length of this footprint, the optic needs to be in the rear position on the slide and your factory dovetail will be cut over. We can relocate the dovetail in front of the optic or we also offer racecut options that eliminate the dovetail completely and cut the optic in the rear position of the slide.
COATINGS: Three refinishing options are available. Cold blue is a chemical that reacts with bare steel and offers very little protection, but allows the refinishing of just the machined area rather the the full slide. The cerakote and nitride options are for the entire slide. We use H series oven cure cerakote and offer 5 colors. The black nitride is a OEM style metal heat treatment that improves surface hardness and gives the slide higher wear resistance compared to the cerakote. Note that nitride lead times are not guaranteed and may take 3-4 weeks.

THE PROCESS: After checkout, you will receive instructions for shipping your stripped slide to us (please remove the barrel and recoil spring unless you are also getting porting). We will perform the cut and/or refinishing and ship the slide back promptly. You will receive an email notification once we receive the slide (typically the day after it gets delivered to us) and a second email when it ships back to you with a tracking number.
TIMELINE: We will complete the work in the stated turnaround time (Mon-Fri) or less, including coating, after receiving your slide.
Note: Your order will be returned to the address provided at checkout. Follow instructions and include a copy of your confirmation email when shipping your slide to us to avoid increased turnaround time.

Extremely happy with this service, turn around time was quick, had the slide back in my hands within a week, cut and cerakoted. The work itself is top notch from the actual optic cut to the cerakote, my acro went on with no issues, the cut is deep and allows the chunky Acro p2 to sit lower on the slide which I prefer. I also had sights installed those were done great too. overall I wouldn’t hesitate to send another slide for work or recommend to a friend.

The turnaround was awesome (just as advertised). Love their dedication to providing the best quality work to bring honor to God. Make sure you have 500+ rounds on your gun/recoil spring before adding the weight of the acro. My g19.5 was brand new and would not function with the heavy acro on top until I had broken in the gun/spring. After that zero problems. Looks great, I opted for front mounted blacked out suppressor height sites. Recommend to all my homies. Had my slide done summer 2022 and still recommend doing it in 2023
