Aimpoint Acro P2 Dedicated Optic Cut (Irons in Rear) for Glock

Description

This is a service to cut your factory Glock slide for the Aimpoint Acro P2 optic. This is an Acro P2 specific cut; we do not guarantee fitment with other optics that use a similar footprint. This cut allows you to keep your irons to the rear of the optic.

To accomplish this, we will cut away your factory iron dovetail and cut a new one further back on the slide. By doing this, it allows us to get a deep Acro P2 cut without breaking into the safety plunger or any other internal components while still maintaining the irons behind the optic. The rear portion of the slide where the new dovetail is located will be .080" lower than the rest of the top of the slide due to cutting away the factory dovetail. We recut the radii on the corners so that the back portion blends in to the rest of the slide. The lowest point of the optic will sit at about .180" below the top surface of the slide.

IRON LOCATION: This cut has been designed to allow the rear irons to remain behind the optic. In order to do this, we have to cut away the factory dovetail to move it back far enough to fit the Acro P2 cut. We do not offer an “Irons Forward” setup with this cut.

COATINGS: There is an option to add Cerakote or Black Nitride to the slide. We offer Cerakote in Graphite Black, FDE, ODG, Tungsten, and Burnt Bronze, applied to the entire slide. If the Cerakote option is chosen, we will remove your channel liner and install a new one after coating. We also offer a black nitride coating, which is a harder finish than Cerakote and will not wear as quickly. Estimated 3-4 weeks total turnaround for nitride. Due to the amount of bare metal visible with this cut, we do not offer the cold blue finish.

THE PROCESS: Once you checkout with your chosen optic cut, you will receive an email with instructions on how to ship the slide to us. Please ship us your stripped slide only (barrel and recoil spring removed); we are not an FFL and cannot handle frames. We will complete the cut and/or Cerakote and then ship the slide back to you quickly. You will receive an email once the slide has been shipped back to you.

TIMELINE: Once we receive your slide, we will complete the work in the stated turnaround time (Mon-Fri) or less and get it shipped back to you. This includes coating.
