Direct Mount Conversion Cut for Factory Optics Ready M&P Shield

Description

This is a service to cut your factory optics ready M&P Shield to allow for direct mounting of a Holosun K footprint (also compatible with most RMSc optics). The milling will be performed over the existing factory optic cut, flattening it out while retaining your rear dovetail. The bosses will be milled in to ensure proper optic location and universal fitment for any optic that meets specifications. The same factory threaded holes will be used for mounting the optic.

COATINGS: You have the option to add Cerakote or black nitride finishes (M&P slides are stainless steel, so bluing is not available). Cerakote is offered in Graphite Black, FDE, ODG, Tungsten, and Burnt Bronze, applied to the entire slide. Black nitride is also available, providing a harder finish that is more durable than Cerakote and offers a clean uniform black appearance. Lead times for nitride are not guaranteed, with an estimated total turnaround of 3-4 weeks.

THE PROCESS: After checkout, you will receive an email with shipping instructions for your slide. Please send only your stripped slide; we cannot handle frames as we are not an FFL. We will complete the cut and/or Cerakote and promptly ship the slide back to you, with an email notification upon shipment.

TIMELINE: Upon receipt of your slide, we will complete the work within the stated turnaround time (Mon-Fri) or less, including coating.
