Summary of this service:

• Cut is performed over the factory optic cut, which flattens it out while keeping all the features from the factory.
• Fits Holosun K/RMSc pattern optics
• Mounts with standard 6-32 screws

Mounting Screws: 

This cut will include a set of 6-32 x 3/8″ flat head screws (require a Torx T10 drive to install). These screws will work with most Holosun optics.

Recommended Sights for Lower 1/3 Co-witness: Factory M&P irons will give a low cowitness with this cut.

IRON LOCATION: The factory dovetail will remain in the same location with this conversion cut.

COATINGS: Two refinishing options are available. These slides are stainless steel, so standard cold bluing will not work. The cerakote and nitride options are for the entire slide. We use H series oven cure cerakote and offer 5 colors. The black nitride is a OEM style metal heat treatment that improves surface hardness and gives the slide higher wear resistance compared to the cerakote.  Note that nitride lead times are not guaranteed and may take 3-4 weeks.

THE PROCESS: After checkout, you will receive instructions for shipping your stripped slide to us (please remove the barrel and recoil spring unless you are also getting porting). We will perform the cut and/or refinishing and ship the slide back promptly. You will receive an email notification once we receive the slide (typically the day after it gets delivered to us) and a second email when it ships back to you with a tracking number.

TIMELINE: We will complete the work in the stated turnaround time (Mon-Fri) or less, including coating, after receiving your slide.

Note: Your order will be returned to the address provided at checkout. Follow instructions and include a copy of your confirmation email when shipping your slide to us to avoid increased turnaround time.
