Direct Mount RMRcc Conversion Cut for Glock 43x/48 MOS Slides

Description

This service cuts your factory MOS G43x or G48 slide for direct mounting of a Trijicon RMRcc. The cut is milled over the existing optic cut.

Summary of this service:

• Since we cannot add recoil posts due to the depth of the current cut, you must send your RMRcc optic with your slide. We will create a snug pocket for your specific optic to ensure it remains secure under recoil.
• Fits RMRcc pattern optics
• Mounts with 5-40 screws – we provide

Recommended Sights for Lower 1/3 Co-witness: A standard optic height iron will give a usable cowitness. We offer these on the iron sight page. Due to the depth of this cut, you can also use slightly shorter irons than the .310″ ones we offer if desired.

IRON LOCATION: This cut keeps your factory dovetail location.

COATINGS: Three refinishing options are available. Cold blue is a chemical that reacts with bare steel and offers very little protection, but allows the refinishing of just the machined area rather the the full slide. The cerakote and nitride options are for the entire slide. We use H series oven cure cerakote and offer 5 colors. The black nitride is a OEM style metal heat treatment that improves surface hardness and gives the slide higher wear resistance compared to the cerakote.  Note that nitride lead times are not guaranteed and may take 3-4 weeks.

THE PROCESS: After checkout, you will receive instructions for shipping your stripped slide to us (please remove the barrel and recoil spring unless you are also getting porting). We will perform the cut and/or refinishing and ship the slide back promptly. You will receive an email notification once we receive the slide (typically the day after it gets delivered to us) and a second email when it ships back to you with a tracking number.

TIMELINE: We will complete the work in the stated turnaround time (Mon-Fri) or less, including coating, after receiving your slide.

Note: Your order will be returned to the address provided at checkout. Follow instructions and include a copy of your confirmation email when shipping your slide to us to avoid increased turnaround time.
