If you are placing an order for both a porting job and an optic cut, select the finish that you want on this page and then select ‘None’ for the coating with the optic cut. The finish selected with the porting will cover the entire slide including the area machined for the optic cut.
This service allows you to send in your OEM Glock slide and OEM barrel for machining to add popular C style porting cuts. The service includes refinishing your barrel with a new nitride treatment, while the slide can be refinished with either cerakote or nitride.
Both the slide and barrel are precision CNC machined to the same specifications as the factory C models. The barrel will be ported and CNC deburred on both sides of the porting to ensure there are no functional issues, replicating a factory porting job.
Currently, this service is available only for standard 9mm models: G17, G19, G19x, G45, G47, G49. We can perform porting cuts on both MOS and standard (non-MOS) slides from Gen 3-6. This service is limited to OEM slides and OEM barrels; aftermarket components are not accepted.
Process: Remove the slide assembly from your pistol and ship us the slide and barrel. The recoil spring does not need to be included. You may remove the internals of the slide if desired; if they are present when we receive the slide, we will strip them down, bag the internals, and reinstall them after the machining and refinishing.
Turnaround Time: Due to the nitride finish required on the barrel, this service has an estimated 2-4 week turnaround time.
