Holosun K Footprint Direct Mount Conversion for Glock 43x/48 MOS

Description

This is a service to cut your factory MOS Single Stack Glock slide for direct mounting a Holosun 507k/407k pattern optic. The cut involves removing the rear posts on the factory MOS cut and shortening the front posts to allow the 407k/507k to sit flush. You will use the factory mounting holes to mount the optic, but you may have to shorten your screws slightly.

Please note: This is a conversion cut for MOS slides only! If your slide does not have an MOS cut, you will want to select the 407k/507k full footprint cut.

The screws we provide work with Holosun optics and may also work with other RMSc footprint optics.

Recommended Sights for Lower 1/3 Co-witness: We recommend .225″ rear / .200″ front irons for a good cowitness with most optics in this cut. They are available on our iron sight page.

IRON LOCATION: This cut maintains the factory dovetail location.

COATINGS: Three refinishing options are available. Cold blue is a chemical that reacts with bare steel and offers very little protection, but allows the refinishing of just the machined area rather the the full slide. The cerakote and nitride options are for the entire slide. We use H series oven cure cerakote and offer 5 colors. The black nitride is a OEM style metal heat treatment that improves surface hardness and gives the slide higher wear resistance compared to the cerakote.  Note that nitride lead times are not guaranteed and may take 3-4 weeks.

THE PROCESS: After checkout, you will receive instructions for shipping your stripped slide to us (please remove the barrel and recoil spring unless you are also getting porting). We will perform the cut and/or refinishing and ship the slide back promptly. You will receive an email notification once we receive the slide (typically the day after it gets delivered to us) and a second email when it ships back to you with a tracking number.

TIMELINE: We will complete the work in the stated turnaround time (Mon-Fri) or less, including coating, after receiving your slide.

Note: Your order will be returned to the address provided at checkout. Follow instructions and include a copy of your confirmation email when shipping your slide to us to avoid increased turnaround time.
