This is a service to cut your factory Glock slide to allow direct mounting of an optic (aftermarket slides cut with prior approval). Factory optic ready slides cannot be cut unless specifically stated. - .125″ depth of cut
- Fits Holosun K footprint optics as well as most RMSc optics – 407k/507k/EPS carry/EPS
- Located by the front recoil bosses
- Mounts with standard 6-32 screws – neither hole breaks into any features of the slide, we include screws that work with Holosun optics
- Extractor side hole is shallow due to the extractor pin running below it, you only have 1/8″ of thread engagement on that side, so be sure to check that when mounting your optic/screws.
Mounting Screws:
This cut will include a set of 6-32 x 3/8″ flat head screws (require a Torx T10 drive to install). These screws work best with the Holosun optics. Recommended 12-15 in/lbs with blue loctite for install.
For all other RMSc footprint optics, just ensure you have 6-32 screws and the extractor side only has 1/8″ of thread engagement.
Recommended Sights for Lower 1/3 Co-witness: We recommend .310″ (rear)/ .305″ (front) irons for use with the taller deck height optics with this cut (407k/507k/vortex defender ccw). For the shorter deck height optics (EPS carry/EPS/Osight) we recommend the .225″ (rear) / .205″ (front) irons. We do stock irons in this height and they are on our iron sight page.
IRON LOCATION: You can maintain factory dovetail placement, positioning the optic in front of the rear sight. We also offer an iron sight relocation service to move the optic cut to the rear, allowing for a recut dovetail in front of the optic. We also offer racecut options that eliminate the dovetail completely and cut the optic in the rear position of the slide.
COATINGS: Three refinishing options are available. Cold blue is a chemical that reacts with bare steel and offers very little protection, but allows the refinishing of just the machined area rather the the full slide. The cerakote and nitride options are for the entire slide. We use H series oven cure cerakote and offer 5 colors. The black nitride is a OEM style metal heat treatment that improves surface hardness and gives the slide higher wear resistance compared to the cerakote. Note that nitride lead times are not guaranteed and may take 3-4 weeks.

THE PROCESS: After checkout, you will receive instructions for shipping your stripped slide to us (please remove the barrel and recoil spring unless you are also getting porting). We will perform the cut and/or refinishing and ship the slide back promptly. You will receive an email notification once we receive the slide (typically the day after it gets delivered to us) and a second email when it ships back to you with a tracking number.
TIMELINE: We will complete the work in the stated turnaround time (Mon-Fri) or less, including coating, after receiving your slide.
Note: Your order will be returned to the address provided at checkout. Follow instructions and include a copy of your confirmation email when shipping your slide to us to avoid increased turnaround time.

Great work and super quick as well. fit my non mos g48 perfect for a holosun 407k. I sent my slide in along with the slightly cheaper RMSc optic I had at the time and they even made sure to reshape the lug holes on the bottom of the optic just a little to adjust for the tolerances. Everything fit like a charm.

Wager did incredible work on my Glock 19. I got the EPS optic cut with front slide serrations and nitride coating. The machine work is crisp and clean. The coating looks close to factory and the optic fits like a glove. Just over two weeks to my door and couldn’t be happier.
