Trijicon RMRcc Footprint Optic Cut for Sig P365XL/Macro

Description

This is a service to cut your factory P365XL/Macro slide for a Trijicon RMRcc pattern optic (aftermarket slides cut with prior approval). This will be milled over the top of the factory optic cut. Your rear dovetail will be retained. The bosses WILL be milled in to locate the optic as this is the way the optic was designed to be located and this ensures universal fitment for any optic that is in spec. The threaded holes will not break into any of the internal parts of the slide. The holes are threaded 5-40. Due to the fact that there is already an optic cut on these slides from the factory, our cut can only be so deep before we start running into the internal components. This limits how tall the recoil posts will be. If you opt to run your RMRcc with the sealing plate, there will be very little engagement for the recoil posts. For this optic cut specifically we recommend sending the RMRcc optic you plan to mount with the slide so we can ensure a correct fit, due to the fact that the recoil posts will be shorter than normal.

NOTE: THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE WITH SIG SLIDES THAT HAVE THE REAR DOVETAIL IN THE SLIDE. WE CANNOT CURRENTLY CUT A SLIDE WHERE THE OPTIC CUT PLATE CONTAINS THE REAR IRONS.

Iron Sights: Due to the depth of this cut, many standard irons sights will offer a low cowitness with the RMRcc optic. A standard .230″ height iron will give a lower 1/4-1/5 cowitness.

COATINGS: Two refinishing options are available. These slides are stainless steel and the cold blue finish will not work. The cerakote and nitride options are for the entire slide. We use H series oven cure cerakote and offer 5 colors. The black nitride is a OEM style metal heat treatment that improves surface hardness and gives the slide higher wear resistance compared to the cerakote.  Note that nitride lead times are not guaranteed and may take 3-4 weeks.

THE PROCESS: Once you checkout with your chosen optic cut you will receive an email with instructions on how to ship the slide to us. Please ship us your stripped slide only. We will complete the cut and/or refinishing and then ship the slide back to you quickly! You will receive an email once the slide has been shipped back to you.

TIMELINE: Once we receive your slide, we will complete the work in the stated turnaround time (Mon-Fri) or less and get it shipped back to you. This includes coating.
